Meet the Band

Caity North

Lead Vocalist & Rhythm Guitar

Caity North grew up between Montana’s rolling foothills and the towering forests of the Pacific Northwest. Returning to Montana, her birthplace became deeply intertwined with her journey as a performer and storyteller.

A lifetime of exploring diverse forms of self-expression, from personal to classical, prepared Caity for the stage, where she is wily and raw, drawing audiences into every moment with her presence. When she met Cody North at The Rhino in Missoula, MT, their instant connection sparked the creation of Saint of Soldiers, a band born from shared vision and passion.

Her voice is powerful and emotive, carrying both pain and healing. The favorite compliment she has ever received is that it is “a voice that heals,” and she channels that depth and authenticity into every note.

Cody North

Banjo & Audio Engineer

Cody North’s musical identity has been shaped by a life rich with change and adventure. From cowboying and packing in the backcountry of Montana to blacksmithing, farrier work, and commercial fishing in Alaska, Cody’s journey has been anything but conventional. Yet through it all, his love for stringed instruments has remained steadfast.

Starting with guitar and upright bass as a child, Cody’s musical evolution led him to his true calling: the banjo. Today, Cody performs and composes with a unique blend of banjo, mandolin, and lap steel resonator, weaving his diverse life experiences into the sound of Saint of Soldiers.

His music reflects a deep connection to both his roots and his adventurous spirit, making his contributions to the band as multifaceted as his journey.

Alyssa Shriver

Second vocalist & Violin

Alyssa’s journey to Saint of Soldiers felt like a divine encounter. When Cody met her at a funeral at St. Ignatius Mission Church, where she played the violin and sang for the service, it felt as though Saint Ignatius himself had orchestrated their fateful meeting. The moment cemented Alyssa’s place in the band’s story.

Trained classically since childhood, Alyssa is now the music director for St. Ignatius Elementary School and a key figure in the music program at St. Ignatius Mission Church.

Her haunting, angelic harmonies truly set her apart. Her voice, ethereal and evocative, adds a layer of emotional depth that makes her a transcendent presence onstage.

Casey Fague

Bass Guitar

From the picturesque land of 10,000 lakes, Casey Fague has dedicated his life to music and the great outdoors. His journey began at age six with piano and tuba before he ultimately discovered his true passion: the bass guitar. Over the years, Casey has explored a wide range of genres—from Metal and Funk to Rock, Pop, Jazz, and Country—playing in bands that showcase his versatility and deep love for music.

As the newest member of Saint of Soldiers, Casey joins not just as a fan but as a friend and collaborator, bringing fresh perspectives, a keen sense of groove, and an unwavering enthusiasm for every bass line. Armed with his Rickenbacker bass, he is excited to craft unforgettable grooves, connect with fellow music lovers, and contribute to the band’s hauntingly angelic sound, honoring both the music and the landscapes that inspire it.
